- Visit your Zomato application and open your order.
- On the right-side corner, check for Account Section and click on it.
- Select the option or order you want to cancel.
- Give a click on the order you want to cancel.
- On the right-hand side, look for the “Get Help & Support” option and open it.
- Select the option “Chat with Us”.
- Next, select the option “I want to cancel my order”.
- From the list of reasons given, select your reason for cancelation.
- Select the option “Yes, I want to cancel my option”.
Once you select this option, your order would get canceled. If you have already paid for the order placed, the refund would be initiated to your bank account through the account you have paid from.
On the other hand, if the order is canceled by Zomato due to delay or any other fault of the restaurant, you would be liable to receive a full refund of the order. But if the cancellation is from your side, after the window time given to you, and the restaurant claims food wastage, you shall receive a partial refund or zero refund for the same depending on the processing of your order. How to Track Refunds on Zomato?
Thinking how much time does it take to receive your refund back? Well, that depends on the mode of payment you selected while placing the order. If you made the payment through Paytm Wallet, you shall receive the refund within one hour. If you have made the payment through any UPI id, the refund shall take around 2 to 4 working days. If the payment is done through any debit or credit card, the refund shall be received within 4 to 7 working days. If the payment of the order is done through Sodexo, the refund would be received within 5 business days. Lastly, if you have used net banking for making payment of your order, it would take around 5 to 7 days for processing your refund request.
