MyGov platform is a path breaking initiative of the Government of India which enables citizens to engage. Departments can post various online and on-ground tasks on which they would like citizen inputs & ideas.

Update :- After awesome success of Mygov portal, Government of india has decided to launch new version of Mygov.in portal. The site has lunched last year and then after they made 2 versions and new version coming soon.

MyGov in its 3rd version (MyGov 3.0) will include features like :-

2) Speech to Text solution
3) Events Module
4) Merchandise Store.

As per the official site, MyGov is an innovative platform to build a partnership between Citizens and Government with the help of technology for growth and development of India. In other words, by this latest portal, Indian government is creating bridge between people (citizen of india) and government to create better governance. (which was the real agenda of Modi government and BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) during 16th Loksabha election).

For Example, the last contest was organized to give the good name, logo and tagline to the pradhanmantri (prime minister’s) scheme to join people with bank accounts.
