To fulfil one of the poll promises and to remove unemployment in India, Modi government has started to open skill development centers in all districts of India. All these skill development centers will be on PPP (Public private partnership) format, so unemployed youth can get job easily.
Multi Skill Development Centers to Opened in Every District of India
As of now, in first phase 12 cities are selected where skill development centers will be opened.
Skill development and entrepreneurship department of india has tie up with national skill development council and has target to open skill development centre in each MLA and MP’s constituency.
As of now there are many youth who want to work in many other organization where some skills are needed, in that case, these skill development centers will help them to gear up for new job, These centers will train them.
As of now 6 states are chosen for first phase where you can find skill development centers. The states are Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Below is list of cities where skill development centre will be opened;
1. Uttar Pradesh :- Santkabir nagar, Pratapgarh, Ghaurhara.
2. Maharashtra :- Ravera,Kolhapur, Sholapur
3. Rajasthan :- Sikar
4. West Bengal :- Asansol
5. Andhrapradesh :- Mehmudabad, Rajmudri, tadepalligudem
6. Telangana :- Nizamabad
These centers are going to get all latest equipment’s, and candidates will get all latest training and development which is needed to get job. The target set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to trainee 24lac youth in first year itself.
Also, youth will get Rs.5000-Rs.1.5 lac of Loan to get admission in skill and development center. For next year, more than 35 lac students will be joined through skill development program.
“Skill India” mission was launched in early months of 2015, and that time it was started, Govt of india has set target to achieve to give training and development to 40cr youth of india before 2022.
Many private companies who gives skill development plus ITI (Industrial training institutes) are also joining Skill Development program.
The emphasis is give to service sector as there are many hope and chance of getting new job opening in IT sector, electronics, textiles market, machinery, steel and automobile sector.
